Leslie and I will be performing at a big Blues event, the 'Sisters of Soul', this coming Saturday at Blayney's in Westport. The event features 9 of the top female performers in Kansas City. Leslie will be performing with Penelope and the Unusual Suspects at 3pm, and will perform in her own slot at 5pm. The cover charge is $7 and part of the proceeds go to breast cancer reserach. The entire event runs from 3pm to 2am, with a jam session starting at about 10pm. Come by and enjoy a great event with great performers! |
